While You Fly
First Class
- Diamond Zone
As its name implies, the Diamond Zone offers Etihad travellers a truly regal experience.
The ratio of staff to customers is higher on board Etihad than on any other airline. In the Diamond Zone, there is one dedicated crew member to every four or five travellers. And the first thing you'll notice about them is how carefully they listen to your questions and needs.

Along with the exceptional space and luxurious comfort Diamond Zone guests can expect, in-flight dining will come as a revelation.
Eating onboard an Etihad flight should come as close as possible to the experience of dining in a fine restaurant. So each Diamond Zone customer is individually table-served, and dines off specially designed Rosenthal fine bone china, on exquisite table linen, with silver plated cutlery (where regulations permit) and quality glassware.

Personal TV Screens
Etihad's new Diamond Zone Suite is most remarkable for being able to rotate 180 degrees so you can dine and chat with fellow passengers. It is complemented by the excellent Air Theatre entertainment system and huge, 23-inch personal LCD video screen. The seats have several pre-settings allowing you to find the right position for working, eating, sleeping, take-off and landing as well as the fully flat position.
Business Class
- Pearl Zone
Etihad's Pearl Zone is all about personal service and attention to detail.
To ensure the highest possible degree of both, Etihad assigns dedicated members of the Inflight Cabin Crew to its travellers.
At the point you embark on any Etihad flight, one of their Flight Attendants will greet you and personally assist you to your seat, where you will be made to feel not merely comfortable but at home.
Sit back and order your complimentary drinks and your choice of reading material. Explore the exceptional range of programming the advanced Inflight Entertainment System offers. In Etihad's Pearl Zone you'll find yourself dining in a style which perfectly complements the rest of this sophisticated but relaxed travelling experience.

The new business class seats on Etihad Airways are a mini-version of those in first class on major carriers. Rows are staggered in a 1-2-1 configuration so you always have both an aisle and a window. There is a very private feel to the seats, with ample storage space. Blankets are large and soft and pillows are fluffy. In-flight complimentary ‘goodies’ include lavender re-hydrating lotion, ear plugs, temple balm to soothe headaches, lip balm, green tea facial spritz, socks, and eye mask.
Etihad considers every passenger a ‘guest’, and it shows. New premium products will be launched, including à la carte, on-demand meals—which should set this carrier apart and propel it on the way to becoming one of the world’s leading luxury airlines.

Etihad's award-winning chefs serve up the best culinary delights from around the world. A medley of influences — European, Asian and Middle Eastern — and the finest ingredients go into the making of their classic menus.*
If you’re looking for some great reading while you fly, take a look at Etihad Inflight. It has everything you look for in a quality travel and lifestyle magazine: fascinating destination features; articles on global fashion, news, food and music; and a wealth of useful information to help you plan your next journey with Etihad.
And once you’ve finished with their in-flight magazine, they have more interesting reading waiting for you: a fine selection of newspapers and magazines in various languages.
Guest Charter
At Etihad Airways, customer care assumes a new significance. At the core of Etihad's endeavor is to maintain a lasting relationship with their customers, their firm belief is when people fly with Etihad, you fly as guests and not as passengers. All Etihad's services on the ground and on board are guided by their unique, 'guest-first' philosophy.
Etihad seek to establish a relationship with you through all stages of your journey with them, right from planning and booking your travel to reaching you to your destination and taking action on your feedback, if any. Etihad's Guest Affairs team is always at your service, ensuring that you get a quick, satisfactory response to your queries, suggestions and complaints.
Etihad Zones
Etihad's guest-centric approach to service starts from their classification of their service areas: Etihad's Diamond, Pearl and Coral Zones break away from the traditional class system in the airline industry; you can expect premium service, irrespective of the Zone you are travelling in.
Etihad Staff
Etihad realise that their aim of achieving a truly 21st-century, guest-oriented airline depends on their staff. Etihad recruit the best talent in the industry, individuals who are committed to providing the highest service to their guests.
In keeping with Etihad's plan to go global, they also strive for a multiracial, multilingual and multi-cultural family of employees. The Etihad family now includes individuals from over 50 nationalities, speaking several languages and sensitive to cultural differences.
Each member of Etihad's crew fully understands the Etihad way of hospitality and makes every effort to make your journey comfortable.
