Cathay Pacific offer individual service.
In First class there are wider seats which recline to a full 180degree flat bed. These are made of superior quality leather and timber. There is only l seat per row which is partitioned on the side. This allows you to enjoy full privacy making the journey very comfortable. Generally there are 12 seats per aircraft.
Passengers are given sleep-suits and while changing, their bed is made up. Cathay offers a dining experience with large private tables.
Sony sound systems and 12” screens are used as TV or computer and they offer free internet connection.
As a First Class passenger, you enjoy a special checked baggage allowance of up to 40kg. On flights to, from or via the USA, Canada and certain countries in South America, you may check in 2 bags with dimensions measuring up to 158cm (62 inches) in total and 32kg (70lbs) in weight for each.

The First Class Seat:
At the heart of our new First Class is the seat. Apart from being among the longest and widest in the sky, the First Class seat can quickly and easily extend into a full-length bed. Privacy screens on the aisle side - and also between the centre seats, transform your seating area into a secure and very cozy "bedroom". For extra comfort, you will receive luxury duvets, pillows and, for the ultimate in slumber comfort, a "sleepsuit".
The Cuisine:
One of the highlights awaiting every First Class passenger is the superb array of Asian and International cuisine: freshly prepared in our state-of-the-art galley that boasts rice cookers, toasters, steam ovens and fresh coffee-making facilities. And because all dishes are freshly made to order, you can choose what to eat.

On long haul trips, Cathay offers the new Flat Seat that fully expands and reclines to 172degrees. It features a hard shell to “cocoon” seats from bumping and more privacy. There are only 2 seats per isle. Passengers have a personal 10.4” TV screen.
The Business Class seat is designed for optimum comfort, with a special lumbar cushion to support your back, an adjustable head-rest with special wings for added privacy and comfort, as well as two footrests – on your seat and the seat in front of you. In addition, the seat on all long haul flights has a 60" pitch that allows you to stretch out and relax in style.
Everything in Business Class is geared towards your personal needs - to ensure that your journey with us is as smooth, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Of course, there are many additional benefits available to our Business Class passengers - from inflight communications to a selective choice of cocktails.
If you're travelling on long-haul flights, we offer amenity kits from Dermalogica, with essentials such as select skincare products, toothbrush & toothpaste and mouthwash.

At Hong Kong International Airport there are two lounges available: The Pier (more recent) and The Wing. Free of charge, they both offer the Haven dining lounge, the Noodle Bar, the Short Bar and the Long Bar. The Wing also offers the Smoking Bar. The Elemis Day Spa (have to book in advance) is also free of charge.
Library and Reading Room as well as the Day-Break-Rooms offer privacy but not isolation.
The airport also offers the exclusive "Cabanas" that include a bath, open shower, mini-bar, leather lounges and a pebbled stream. This is on a first-come-first-served bases so no bookings are accepted.
The Business Class Lounge is situated at the Wing Lounge. It features internet excess, computer terminals, faxes, phones, bathrooms, showers, food and drinks.
