To exploit this and the fact that Langkawi has the clearest skies of West Malaysia, we offer a user-friendly telescope - the revolutionary Meade ETX with its brainy Autostar Computer Controller which will take you on a guided tour of the wondrous night skies over Langkawi.

Mangrove River Boatride
This is an experience not to be missed! Prepare to be enthralled by the haunting beauty of the mangrove - among the country's oldest - at Tanjung Rhu. During a 2-hour boatride into the heart of the mangrove forest, you will be able to see wildlife of birds, small mammals and the diverse flora of the area.

Cave Exploration
Langkawi's limestone caves are geological masterpieces created over millions of years ago and Tanjung Rhu Resort offers guests a chance to get a close-up view of the caves. Explore some of the caves around Tanjung Rhu - each with its very own legend. Some are inhabited by bats while others have interesting and varied wildlife. All you need are binoculars, a torchlight and an adventurous spirit!

Luxury Sunset Cruise
