Hayman Island Resort Room Types

Rooms and suites are designed to complement their beautiful garden, pool, lagoon or beach surrounds. Rooms are situated in Palm, Pool, Lagoon and Beach Wings, whilst suites are located in Pool and Lagoon Wings.

Palm superior
Situated on Levels 1 and 2 of the Palm Wing above the Hayman Arcade, among tropical gardens. Close to the Hayman Pool. Decor is cool and tropical. A private terrace overlooks the gardens. Bathrooms contain a shower only (no bath tub). Double or 2 single beds and a cot. Room capacity 2.

Pool superior
Situated on Levels 2 of the Pool Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Hayman Pool and tropical gardens. Rooms are tiled throughout with Italian marble. Bathrooms contain a combined bath/shower. Queen or 2 single beds. Room capacity 3.
Pool access
On Level 1 of the Pool Wing, overlooking the famous Hayman Pool and gardens. Each room has a spacious bathroom with a shower over the bath. The balcony provides a ladder enabling direct access into the pool. Queen or 2 single beds. Room capacity 3.

Pool deluxe
Situated on Level 3 of the Pool Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Hayman Pool, tropical gardens, resort beach and Whitsunday Passage. Bathrooms contain a separate bath and shower. Ivory timber shutters welcome in natural daylight and stunning views. Super queen or 2 single beds and a cot. Room capacity 3.

Pool suite
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Pool Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Hayman Pool and tropical gardens. Level 3 also overlooks the resort beach and Whitsunday Passage. Suites are tiled throughout with Italian marble. There is a separate bedroom, dressing room and lounge room. Bathrooms contain a separate bath and shower. Ivory timber shutters welcome in natural daylight and stunning views. There is a guest bathroom off the lounge room. King bed. Room capacity 2.

Lagoon superior
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Lagoon Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon, Lagoon Pool and tropical gardens. Level 3 also overlooks the resort beach and Whitsunday Passage. Bathrooms contain a separate bath and shower and a dressing room. King or 2 single beds. Room capacity 4.

Lagoon deluxe
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the East Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon Pool and tropical gardens. Level 3 also overlooks the resort beach and Whitsunday Passage. These 15 rooms incorporate a contemporary style island bed and living room arrangement featuring an open plan bathroom. King 2 single beds. Room capacity 3.

Lagoon suite
Situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the East Wing. A private balcony overlooks the Swan Lagoon, East Wing Pool and tropical gardens. There is a separate bedroom, dressing room and lounge room. The main bathroom features a luxurious spa bath and separate shower. There is a guest bathroom off the lounge room. King bed. Room capacity 4.

Retreat room
Situated in the tropical garden area adjoining the beachfront. Rooms have a strong relationship with the outdoors, and the tropical surrounds provide a lush canopy enveloping a private verandah for each room with extended open patios and outdoor rinse showers. The interiors include a peaceful haven of soft natural tones and rich grained woods. King bed and a Day bed for a small child. Room capacity 2.

Beach front
An exclusive group of 12 units situated on the resort beach, overlooking the Whitsunday Passage. Close to the Hayman Pool. A private terrace extends onto coral sands. Rooms are tiled throughout with terra-cotta tiles. Bathrooms contain a double spa with separate shower. Queen or 2 single beds and a cot. Room capacity 2.
