Day 01 Australia/Beijing (Monday)
We fly from Australia to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing you will be greeted
by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Day 02 Beijing (Tuesday)
Morning tour to the Temple of Heaven, the 500-year-old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting of gardens, trees and sculptures. In the afternoon enjoy a pedi-cab tour of Hutong - the 'old city' neighbourhood of narrow alleyways and courtyard gardens, visit Prince Gong's Palace and the Drum Tower. After dinner, board a traditional Chinese scull cruise along Houhai Lake. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery while listening to Chinese music played by a local musician. Day 03 Beijing (Wednesday)
Morning tour to the Great Wall, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the seven wonders of the world. After lunch stroll along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and visit Ding Ling underground palace, the final resting place of one of the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. For dinner enjoy a traditional Beijing Duck banquet. (B/L/D)
Day 04 Beijing (Thursday)
This morning you will visit Tian'anmen Square. the biggest public square in the world and the Forbidden City with its vast complex of palaces which were once home to successive Emperors for more than 500 years. Included is admission to the living quarters, museum and jewellery sections. Afternoon visit to the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved of all the imperial palace gardens and which boasts such delights as the famous marble boat and the ornately painted 'Long Corridor'. Take a boat ride along Lake Kunming, then onto the Beijing Zoo to see the pandas. After dinner, enjoy an unforgettable night with the amazing Acrobatic show. (B/L/D)
Day 05 Beijing/Hangzhou (Friday)
Catch a morning flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival visit Six Harmonies Pagoda, highly erected by the Qiantang River and to the south of the West Lake, is a perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure built in the ancient China, and Guozhuang Garden. (B/L/D)
Day 06 Hangzhou (Saturday)
Visit the West Lake. You will surely appreciate the fabled scenery such as 'Broken Bridge', 'Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake' and ' Three Pools mirroring the Moon'. You will take a short cruise tour on the West Lake. Then visit to Lingyin Temple, which is among the ten most famous Buddhist temples in China and has a history of over 1000 years. Hangzhou is famous for Longjing Green Tea, we invite you to visit a tea plantation and have a taste of the tea as well as acquaint yourself with the ancient refining process of tea. (B/L/D)
Day 07 Hangzhou/Chongqing (Sunday)
We fly to Chongqing today. Upon arrival in Chongqing, visit to Erling Park and Ciqikou if time permit, then pre-board your cruiser for Yangtze River cruise tour after dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 08 Yangtze River Cruise (Monday)
Start your spectacular cruise along the mighty Yangtze River. Relax on deck or in the lounge, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the magnificent Three Gorges. Sailing downstream, view the Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorges, and enjoy a side trip up Shennong Stream. Shore excursions include Fengdu, the "Ghost City". (B/L/D)
Day 09 Yangtze River Cruise (Tuesday)ï€
Enjoy your cruise along the river today. (B/L/D)
Day 10 Yichang/Wuhan (Wednesday)
Disembark at Yichang, we board a coach to Wuhan. If time permits, we visit ancient city Jingzhou one the way to Wuhan. Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 11 Wuhan/Shanghai (Thursday)
Morning visit Yellow Crane Pavilion, then take an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 12 Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai (Friday)
Day excursion tour to Suzhou, a small town famous for its classic gardens in the south of China and often so called Oriental Venice. You will visit the Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, Embroidery Research Institute and take a short cruise on the Grand Canal dug 1,000 year ago in Sui Dynasty. Late afternoon, coach back to Shanghai. Day 13 Shanghai (Saturday)
Take a morning tour to the Bund, a popular promenade along the Huangpu River, where the old meets the modern in Shanghai, then to Yu Garden and the Old Town - a labyrinth of teahouses, typical Chinese style restaurants and shops featuring all manner of antiques, curios and Chinese medicine. In the afternoon we visit the Jade Buddha Temple. If time permits, visit the Children's Palace, a place for the kids to practice there out of school activities. (B/L/D)
Day 14 Shanghai/Australia (Sunday)
Today you will have free time to go shopping or explore more of Shanghai by
yourself. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your flight
back to Australia. (B)
