Day 01 Australia/Beijing (Thursday)

Fly from Australia to Beijing. Upon arrival into Beijing, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (Friday)

Morning tour to the Temple of Heaven, the 500-year-old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting of gardens, trees and sculptures. In the afternoon enjoy a pedi-cab tour of Hutong - the 'old city'' neighbourhoods of narrow alleyways and courtyard gardens, visit to Prince Gong's Palace and the Drum Tower. After dinner, board a traditional Chinese sculled cruise on Houhai Lake; you will enjoy the beautiful scenery while listening to Chinese music played by the local musician on board (This program available from 1 April to 31 October). Day 03 Beijing (Saturday)

Morning tour to the Great Wall, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the seven wonders of the world. After lunch stroll along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and visit to Ding Ling underground palace, one of the final resting-places for the 13th Emperors of the Ming Dynasty. For dinner enjoy a traditional Beijing Duck banquet. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 04 Beijing (Sunday)

In the morning you will visit the Tiananmen Square, the biggest public square in the world and Forbidden City, the vast complex of palaces, which was home to successive Emperors for more than 500 years. Included is admission to the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. Afternoon visit to the Summer Palace, the largest and the best preserved of all imperial palace gardens, which boasts such delights as the famous Marble Boat and the ornately painted 'Long Corridor', and take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming, then on to Beijing Zoo to see the pandas. Day 05 Beijing/Xian (Monday)

Free at leisure in the morning, transfer to the airport and fly from Beijing to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, you will be met & transferred to the hotel. Visit to Old City Wall if time permit, which was constructed 600 years ago. (B/D)

Day 06 Xian (Tuesday)

Morning tour to the greatest archaeo-logical finds of the century, more than 2,000 year-old Terracotta Warriors interred with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Afternoon take tours to Huaqing Hot Spring, where the emperor bathed with his concubines and to Banpo Museum, which was built on the remains of Banpo Neolithic village dating back 6,000 years ago. After dinner, you will enjoy a traditional Tang Dynasty show. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 07 Xian (Wednesday)

Morning visit to the Great Mosque and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After lunch you will be free to explore this ancient city at your own pace and meet with the local people. (B/L)

Day 08 Xian/Guilin (Thursday)

Fly to Guilin, a unique landscape and an inspiration to Chinese artists and poets for centuries. Visit to Reed Flute Cave, a site of wonderful limestone caves, showcasing a dazzling variety of stalactite and stalagmite stone formations, and Elephant Trunk Hill. Check in at your hotel. (incl. Day 09 Guilin (Friday)

The Highlight of the trip to Guilin is a spectacular cruise down the meandering and picturesque the Li River, the breath-taking scenery as jagged mist-covered mountains, quaint villages dot the riverbanks, drift past humped limestone peaks, fishermen aboard bamboo rafts and grazing water buffalo. You will also have a chance to roam Yangshuo's local market before a coach transfer back to Guilin. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 10 Guilin/Kunming (Saturday)

Continue our journey to Kunming by air, the capital of Yunnan Province, is called 'City of Perpetual Spring' with beautiful sceneries and historical sites. Have a short city tour and walk along the flower-and-birds market. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 11 Kunming (Sunday)

In the morning, visit the Stone Forest, known as 'No.1 Wonder under Heaven', is the highest karst terrain in the world. The unique natural sights and Sani folklore are characteristics of the Stone Forest Scenic Area. Visit Western Hills and Dragon Gate in the afternoon. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 12 Kunming/Dali (Monday)

Drive west to Dali via highway in the morning. On the way, please enjoy the Natural countryside scenery. Afternoon tours include the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, which represent ancient architectural art and culture of the Bai ethnic group. Then a boat ride on Erhai Lake, you will enjoy the 3-course tea folk dance performed by the Bai Ethnic People, and visit the old town of Dali, known as 'state of literature', has a long history and splendid culture. Day 13 Dali/Lijiang (Tuesday)

Take a coach Journey (3 hours) to Lijiang in the morning. On the way, visit Xizhou - Bai Ethnic Village Afternoon visit to Naxi Village, Naxi people is the main ethnic group of the town and Black Dragon Pool Park. Dongba Culture Museum makes you have a good understanding of the well-preserved Naxi minoritys people's culture, which is one of very few ancient pictographic scripts in the world still in use. River zigzags surrounding the town, take a walk along the street of the old town of Dayan, you will see what is the combination of Human being, nature and culture. Day 14 Lijiang (Wednesday)

Morning visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yak Meadow section), which has rich vegetation coverage, featuring distinct and complete alpine vertical ecosystem from subtropical zone to Frigid Zone. We will take cable car up and down the mountain. You might meet the minoritys people singing and dancing on the Yak Meadow. Afterwards take tour to Baisha Village to see the ancient Fresco. (incl. Day 15 Lijiang/Shangri-la (Zhongdian) (Thursday)

Morning drive to Zhongdian, 250KM away, on the way will pass Shigu (Stone Drum) County, visit the First Bend of Yangtze River, then to the world famous grand canyon-Tiger Leaping Gorge, which is one of the most dangerous and deepest Canyons in the world. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 16 Shangri-la (Zhongdian) (Friday)

Morning visit to Huge Napahai Lake, the water spreads away far below while yaks graze at the shore, also a place where black-necked cranes come to spend winter. This prefecture is inhabited by 13 ethnic groups of Tibetan, Lisu, Han, Naxi, Yi, Bai, Hui and etc. Afternoon visit to Songzanlin Monastery, one of the 13 famous Yellow Hat Tibetan Monastery in Tibet areas constructed following an edict by the fifth Dalai and Emperor Kangxi in 1679. Day 17 Shangri-la(Zhongdian)/Kunming/Chongqing (Saturday)

Morning, we fly back to Kunming. Then catch a connecting flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. Visit to Erling Park and Ciqikou if time permits. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 18 Chongqing/Dazu/Chongqing (Sunday)

Day excursion to Dazu to view some of the most fascinating rock carvings in the world. Dazu, a small county, located in the southeast of Sichuan Province, is 163 kilometers away from Chongqing. When getting back to Chongqing, then pre-board your cruiser for Yangtze River cruise tour after dinner. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 19 Yangtze River Cruise (Monday)

Start your spectacular cruise along the mighty Yangtze River. Relax on deck or in the lounge, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the magnificent Three Gorges. Sailing downstream, view the Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorges, and enjoy a side trip up Shennong Stream. Shore excursions include Fengdu, the "Ghost City". (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 21 Yichang/Wuhan (Wednesday)

Disembark at Yichang, we board a coach to Wuhan. If time permits, we visit ancient city Jingzhou on the way to Wuhan. Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 22 Wuhan/Hangzhou (Thursday)

Morning visit Yellow Crane Pavilion, then take an afternoon flight to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, transferred to the hotel. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 23 Hangzhou (Friday)

Visit the West Lake. You will surely appreciate the fabled scenery such as 'Broken Bridge', 'Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake' and ' Three Pools mirroring the Moon'. You will take a short cruise along the West Lake. Then visit Lingyin Temple, which is among the ten most famous Buddhist temples in China and has a history of over 1000 years. Hangzhou is famous for Longjing Green Tea, we invite you to visit a tea plantation and have a taste of the tea as well as acquaint yourself with the ancient refining process of tea. (incl. Day 24 Hangzhou/Suzhou/Shanghai (Saturday)

Day excursion tour to Suzhou, a small town famous for its classic gardens in the south of China and often so-called Oriental Venice. You will visit the Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, and Silk Spinning Factory, if time permits taking a short cruise on the Grand Canal dug 1,000 year ago in Sui Dynasty. Late afternoon, continue our ride by coach to metropolitan Shanghai. (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 25 Shanghai/Australia (Sunday)

Morning tour to the Bund, a popular promenade along the Huangpu River, where the old meets the modern in Shanghai, then to the Old Town with its winding alleyways, lined with shops, tea houses and restaurants, and to the elegant and tranquil Yu Garden. Afternoon we visit Jade Buddha Temple - well known for its Jade Buddha carved from a single piece of jade, if time permits, prior to transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B/L)
