Today we offer the discerning safari traveller access into some of East Africa’s most remote areas with old 'Hemingway' style and the highly personalised service for which A&K is renowned. Private guides are available to travel with you throughout your African Safari.

Each luxury mobile camp is erected on an exclusive basis, ensuring personalised service in absolute privacy in the best locations for wildlife viewing. Imagine waking up to a steaming cup of tea or coffee, bought to your tent by your butler while a herd of zebra graze in the distance!

Accommodation Style

Large verandah-fronted tents furnished with two full sized single beds (or by special request a king bed) with crisp cotton sheets, a dressing table, safari wardrobe, wash basin and an ensuite bathroom with bush shower and flush toilet. These are the largest available tents on safari, measuring 28 feet long, 14 feet wide and 9 feet high.

The Experience

Whilst staying in your luxury mobile camp, you will enjoy gourmet meals and fine wines from the bush kitchen served either al fresco or in the dining tent, complete with crisp linen table cloth, white china and fine crystal glasseware. Your professional safari guide will design your day to your pace, as you safari in your private A&K 4WD Landcruiser.

Recommended Length of Stay

A Luxury Mobile Camp is available for as few as three nights, when incorporated into a five night safari. Choose one location or multiple locations, with a permanent lodge/camp in between mobile stays. Your A&K Luxury Mobile Camp will be relocated for you during this time.
