Perisher Blue Facts
Situated in the Kosciusko National Park, Perisher Blue consists of Perisher, Smiggins, Guthega and Blue Cow. Perisher Blue is Australia’s biggest ski resort with plenty of room to move for everybody, great on snow accommodation and ample facilities. Perisher Blue Ski Resort is located well above the snow line. It’s the elevation and enormous spread that offers great boarding and skiing, boasting a massive grooming fleet, the largest in Australia, state of the art equipment and experienced, service focused staff that understand the importance of a properly groomed mountain. There is 38.6 ha of snowmaking at Perisher Blue, so when mother nature holds back they have it covered.

FLYING: The closest airports are Cooma and Canberra - coach transfers are available from both.
DRIVING
From Sydney: 5.5-6 hours
From Melbourne: 7 hours

Snow chains required past National Park Entrance. National Park and parking fees may apply.
SKITUBE: Skitube has become the most popular way of getting to and from the snow. The skitube departs on a regular basis from Bullocks Flat and parking is available free of charge.

TUBE TOWN 2006 UPGRADE
Tube Town will have its own snowmaking and lighting system installed in 2006 providing added relliability and enabling night time fun also! Conveniently located on Mt Piper, adjacent to the car park, Tube Town has specially groomed lanes allowing fun lovers and thrill seekers of all ages a high-speed ride down the slopes and a lift back to the top, on purpose built lifts.
NEW SNOWMAKING
The snow making upgrade started in 2005 on roller coaster has been extended further in 2006, enabling a more reliable connection to the Ridge Quad chairlift for the advanced and intermediate riders.
SLOPE IMPROVEMENTS
Extensive slope works have taken place over the summer months, improving trail and lift load access across the resort.
