A cosmopolitan town, nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu & surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery, Queenstown is New Zealand’s number one ski destination. Queenstown has plenty of night life and apres ski action. Close to the town are the ski areas of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, however, when staying in Queenstown, you can easily ski four areas, with the addition of Cardrona and Treble Cone.
