| This newly renovated and very spacious villa sits high on a hillside with panoramic views over the countryside to the sea, and the island of Cephalonia and, in the distance, the mainland of Greece. With its multi-level layout, it offers flexible accommodation for up to 14 people, ideal for both large extended families or groups of friends. A large terrace to the side and front of the property has steps leading down to the swimming pool terrace (swimming pool 10 x 5m), again with magnificent views. Broad verandas, hidden garden terraces surrounded by flowering bougainvilleas and pot plants and a secluded dining area (with barbecue) are perfect for both intimate and larger parties. There is a ping pong table close to the house and an astroturf tennis court, 150 yards away, for use by guests here, as well as guests staying at Xyloporta or Tramontana The interiors are very light with doors opening to the various terraces, giving this property a lovely relaxing indoor/outdoor ambience. The top floor living room has two distinct seating areas, one cosy end with fireplace and the other a ‘summer’ end, opening to a veranda. Two bedrooms off either side of the dining area, one with twin bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, basin and WC, the other with double bed and en-suite shower room (basin and separate WC). Both bedrooms open via French doors to smaller private terraces. Stairs lead up from the dining area to the top floor. Top Floor Large living room with two seating areas, books, music system, satellite television and video, and opening to veranda. To one side of this room is a twin bedroom, also opening to the terrace. This room shares a shower room (with WC and basin) with another twin bedroom. On the other side of the living room is the master bedroom, opening to a private balcony with lovely views. There is a small sitting area off this bedroom and an en-suite bathroom (bath, basin and separate WC). Lower Terrace Level Stairs lead down from the terrace to two twin bedrooms with exterior access and sharing a shower room (with basin and WC). These rooms are ideal for teenagers, or possibly staff. There is also a laundry on this level. |
