Day 01 Arrive Windhoek Welcome to the capital of Namibia. Meet & greet and private transfer to your hotel.
Heinitzburg Hotel (Deluxe Room)
An exciting day as your journey begins with a light aircraft flight south into the spectacular Namib desert. One of the oldest deserts in the world, it is the smaller creatures and the dramatic scenery that make this area so unique (B,L,D).
Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge
Decide how you wish to discover. A scenic game drive by open 4WD vehicle in the NamibRand Nature Reserve; quad bike through the desert; take a guided nature walk; or star gaze from the lodges private observatory. Optional: day trip to Sossusvlei sand dunes and Sesriem Canyon and scenic flight or hot air balloon (B,L,D). Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge
Day 04 NamibRand Nature Reserve -DamaralandA flight across the desert-scape takes you to the northern reaches of Damaraland (B,L,D).
Mowani Mountain Camp
Today you choose how best to explore. Take an elephant drive to explore the surrounding terrain: visit Twyfelfontien with rare rock paintings by ancient bushmen; take a guided nature walk; or relax by the pool taking in the spectacular desert views (B,L,D).
Mowani Mountain Camp
Today’s flight takes you to Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier wildlife reserve, with its gleaming white salt pan. This afternoon is your first opportunity to take a safari drive. The arid scenery makes it easy to spot game in the distance. Don’t forget your binoculars!
Onguma Tented Camp
Today your safari guide may take you into the national park to see the incredible salt pans or you may safari on the private Ongava reserve. Exciting either way, search for giraffe, cheetah, kudu, lion and the oryx. Watch the elephants come to drink at the waterhole or maybe spot a black rhino. During the summer months, it is a bird watcher's paradise with thousands of bird species migrating to the wetlands created by the seasonal rains (B,L,D).
Onguma Tented Camp
Return by light aircraft back to Windhoek, where you say farewell to Namibia (B).
