Itinerary

An A&K welcome to one of the latest safari destinations, Zambia. A connecting light aircraft flight takes you to the waterways of the Zambezi River in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Your adventure begins with an afternoon safari (D).
Zambezi Kulefu Camp

Two days in the Lower Zambezi to explore and discover. Choose from an early morning canoe safari, one of the most serene (and exciting) ways to explore the channels of the Zambezi River. Enjoy ample opportunity to view the prolific bird life such as the agile Jacana with its giant web feet. Float past hippo pods as they snort to remind you of their presence and see the elephants come down to drink. An early morning or late afternoon game drive will bring close encounters with elephant, buffalo, lion and possibly the endangered wild dog. Guided safari walks highlight the smaller creatures of the bush whilst an afternoon boat trip on the river for Tiger fishing is a fantastic excursion. Catch and release these feisty fish as you watch the sun set across the river (B,L,D)
Zambezi Kulefu Camp

Fly across the country to the confluence of Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe where the mighty Zambezi River rushes over the escarpment to become Victoria Falls. You are accommodated in a Treehouse on the banks of the Zambezi, up river from the Falls in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (B,L,D).
Sussi & Chuma

The day is yours to discover the beauty of the Zambezi. Your stay at Sussi & Chuma includes a variety of activities: a guided tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls; visit the Semonga village; game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (home to the rare white rhino); early morning or sunset boat trips on the river; or fishing (B,L,D).

Today a light aircraft flight takes you across the Falls into Botswana and the semi-arid Chobe National Park. Your accommodation is at the luxurious Chobe Chilwero, perched high on a hill with spectacular views of the floodplain (B,L,D).

Choose how you wish to experience Chobe. Take a morning or afternoon game drive within the park, with its diverse landscape. A visit to the A&K sponsored Plateau Primary School allows you to meet the local community. Take the highly recommended afternoon boat safari on the Chobe River and as the sun sets, watch the elephants come down to the river to drink and bathe. Optional: luxuriate in your surrounds and have a pampering spa treatment in the privacy of your cottage (B,L,D).

A final farewell as your safari ends with a transfer to Kasane airport or Victoria Falls airport (B).
