This magnificent villa is located just a 10 – 15 minute walk from La Piazzetta, the lively main square in Capri town. Fantastic, panoramic views over the whole town and the Bay of Marina Piccola can be enjoyed from the property. It is reached by a small pedestrian walkway leading up from the main square, through the historical centre of Capri, then up 164 steps to the main entrance of the property. Once there, the amazing views, beautiful gardens, multi-level terraces and pool all make the walk worthwhile! The terraced garden, on four levels is filled with fruit trees, olive trees, cactuses and flowers. A line of white columns is shaded by flowering vines, and welcomes guests by the entrance.

Entrance at ground floor level is into the living room, furnished with antiques and beautiful paintings by the famous German painter, Diefenbach, who lived on the island at the beginning of the 19th century. Today, Diefenbach’s memory lives on in a small museum dedicated to him inside the charterhouse of Sant Giacomo, in the town.

The bedrooms are all on the first floor, and the second floor accesses an enormous outdoor terrace space of approximately 13,000 square feet, with dining and seating areas, and a swimming pool (7 x 5m) and pool shower. The terrace has night lighting and is great for dining or relaxing outdoors, or for a party or other special event. From here there are wonderful views of the island and the sea, especially at night when the town is lit up.
