Day 01 Arrive Auckland
Arrive in the ‘city of sails’ to a private welcome. Settle into your boutique hotel.

Day 02 Auckland-Rotorua
Travel by private chauffeur driven car south to Rotorua stopping at Oraka Wapiti Deer Park where you join your host Linda Scott for lunch and an introduction to the farm. Continue to Rotorua, heartland of Maori culture, and your lakeside lodge (B,L,D).

Day 03 Rotorua
A day exploring the surrounds of Rotorua, New Zealand’s geothermal wonderland. Begin the day with a tour through Kiwi Encounter where conservation of this endangered species is a focus. Visit other highlights including the thermal reserve for a close look at the geysers, boiling mud pools and steaming craters (B,L,D).

Day 04 Rotorua-Nelson
A flight this morning to Nelson at the tip of the South Island. Your base here is the 2,000 acre Paratiho Farms. Enroute enjoy some of the local galleries and winetasting in the vineyards (B,D).

Day 05 Nelson
A day sightseeing in the Abel Tasman National Park. Small but rewarding it stretches along a beautiful accessible coastline of sandy beaches nestled between rocky headlands. Cruise along the coast and take a guided walk, in the park (B,L,D).

Day 06 Nelson-Queenstown
Journey south by air to Queenstown and your luxury lodge set in the heart of breathtaking mountain scenery (B).

Days 07-08 Queenstown
Two days touring the Queenstown area including a scenic flight to the World Heritage listed Milford Sound passing over secluded alpine lakes, rainforest and rugged mountain peaks with lunch included on the spectacular cruise of Milford Sound. A&K recommends visiting the Wakatipu basin with a winery lunch and a visit to the Kawarau Bridge for bungy jumping (optional) (B,L).

Day 09 Depart Queenstown
A transfer to the airport ends your New Zealand arrangements (B).
