Sofitel Queenstown features 70 opulent and stylish deluxe spa rooms, ten executive spa suites and two penthouse suites, all in the finest location in the heart of Queenstown.

Rooms and suites have sophisticated sound systems, wide screen plasma televisions in the bedrooms, bathrooms and lounges, and home theatre systems with a choice of CDs, DVDs and digital ‘on demand’ movies.

Deluxe Spa Rooms

The large and stylish deluxe hotel bedrooms are furnished with a classic French twist, featuring the incomparable Sofitel ‘MyBed’.

Deluxe spa rooms are 41sqm in size and decorated in warm and welcoming shades of cream, chocolate and coffee. Most have views of The Remarkables, the lake and the vibrant resort town.

High speed wireless LAN and a separate computer dataport are included in each room, and when the relaxation mood takes over guests can put on a movie, sip coffee made with their own in-room espresso machine or enjoy a bottle of Central Otago Gibbston Valley Pinot Noir or Chardonnay from the bureau bar.

Executive Spa Suite

The highlight of every Sofitel Queenstown bathroom is the astonishingly deep double spa bath created by UK designer Sir Norman Foster – it’s a luxurious 1800mm long and 470mm deep.

The Penthouses are also available for cocktail events, each with an extensive balcony affording spectacular views over Queenstown, The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu
