Beach Suite Bungalows Inspired by traditional Polynesian fare, the Beach Suite Bungalows are situated on a white sand beach gently sloping into the lagoon, under the shade of the coconut trees. They are 409 sq ft size, excluding the terrace. The lounge area (with convertible sofa bed) is separated from the bedroom.

Part of the lagoon in our Moorea Resort's grounds is the home of the Moorea Dolphin Center (former Dolphin Quest). Here we have created a huge natural home for four bottlenose dolphins brought from a similar facility in Hawaii or "retired" from the US Navy in San Diego.

They are lovingly cared for by a scientific and veterinary team and are the stars of a fascinating interactive and educational program. You can learn all about these frolicsome creatures, watch them, feed them, swim and play with them in the comfort of small groups.

They use the natural richness of our secluded Pacific island gardens: virgin oils, plants, fresh flowers and fruits such as wild Miri, Noni Rea, Sacred Tamanu, pure ancestral Monoï, Tahitian Vanilla, coconut, fresh banana tree leaves, but also, pineapple, red papaya, tropical grapefruit and lemon.

Environment

Sea Turtle Care Center
A care center and a nursery were established by the InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea, in February 2004, in partnership with the ministry in charge of environment as part of a larger program of sea turtle conservation in French Polynesia.
