Etihad Rebrands Heathrow T4 Lounge as The House

Etihad Airways has merged with UK-based company, No1 Lounges, to rebrand the Etihad First and Business class lounge at London Heathrow’s Terminal 4 ‘The House’.

The move may later become part of a larger project that will see ‘key locations outside of Abu Dhabi’ be outsourced to different vendors to ‘manage the airline’s lounge offerings.’ But for now, Etihad’s Heathrow lounge has been rebranded as The House with the tag line ‘Home of Etihad Airways and other leading airlines.’

Working closely together, Etihad and No1 Lounges have produced a bold and contemporary new look whilst upholding the same high level of service and customer experience that the airline’s customers have become accustomed to.

Commenting on the collaboration, the airline’s Vice President Guest Experience, Linda Celestino said, “This is an innovative development for Etihad’s international lounge offering. No1 Lounges stood out for their operational skill and expertise, and for their creative approach to Etihad’s lounge needs.

“This new venture will enable the airline to maintain its brand presence, and at the same time enhance and improve the overall lounge experience for our premium guests. It will also provide an opportunity for our Economy guests to upgrade their pre-flight experience."

Access for Etihad’s Business and First Class customers, as well as those travelling in The Residence, remains complimentary. Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum frequent flyer members, and Business and First Class travellers who are booked on codeshare partner services operated by Etihad also have access to the refreshed lounge.

Those travelling in Economy on Etihad are also eligible for entrance for a fee. In addition, premium passengers from a small number of other airlines have access and finally, economy passengers of other airlines also can experience The House, again for a fee and subject to availability.

Those looking to experience The House can look forward to white linen dining, an extensive bar service and, over the next year, new lounge areas, bar, dining, room, reading room, upgraded showers, prayer rooms, and a comprehensive cocktail and mocktail list at the new bar.
