Malaysia Airlines flight MH141 has just landed into Sydney from KL with their new Business Class.

“This marks the start of an exciting product roll-out for our Business Class customers to experience. The Business Class cabin refurbishment will be carried out in stages on all 15 of Malaysia Airlines’ A330 aircraft by September 2016.”

“With the launch of our new seats, we are confident that Malaysia Airlines will be the first choice for travel to, from and around Malaysia. We are also confident that these seats will further improve and strengthen our premium product and service offerings,” – Malaysia Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Simmons.

The new seats are a significant step up from the current ‘sloping sleepers’ plying the airline’s Australia-Kuala Lumpur routes, being fully-flat and extending to a spacious 193cm when in bed mode.

There is an improved configuration with alternating pairs of one and two seats (1-2-1, 1-2-2), providing all but three passengers with uninterrupted and direct access to the aisle for a good night’s sleep. Also boosted is the inflight entertainment screen, with the content library now served up on a 16-inch HD monitor.

Malaysia Airines’ new business class seats debut on Wednesday March 23 on flight MH141 to Sydney.

The refit will continue by two aircraft each month until September, after which all of Malaysia Airlines’ international A330-300s will boast the new seats.
