ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Weligama / Hatton
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representatives who will assist with luggage and escort you to your vehicle. Enjoy a scenic 4.5-hour drive to Hatton, or opt for a 30-minute scenic floatplane transfer to Castlereagh Reservoir (supplement applies).
Check into Ceylon Tea Trails, your luxurious hilltop resort. Your personal butler will welcome you. Spend the day at leisure exploring the estate via bicycle, walking trails, or croquet, and enjoy afternoon cream tea.
Day 2 – Hatton Tea Experiences & Exploration
Start the day with a hearty breakfast, followed by a Signature Tea Experience led by the resident planter. Around lunchtime, enjoy a short hike to a scenic spot for a Planter’s Tiffin Lunch.
Afternoon at leisure with optional activities such as a Private Tea Tasting Masterclass (supplement applies), reading in the library, or swimming. End the day with a Tea-Infused Dinner at your bungalow.
Day 3 – Adventure & Nature
Begin with a Kayaking Adventure on the Castlereagh Reservoir, surrounded by lush mountains. In the afternoon, join a half-day guided nature trail with a naturalist, exploring the stunning tea country scenery.
Day 4 – Departure
After your 3-night stay, transfer back to Bandaranaike International Airport (approx. 4.5 hours). Optionally, enjoy a scenic floatplane transfer from Castlereagh Reservoir to the airport (supplement and timing permitting).
